Frequently Asked Questions
-
Outsiders Inn is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping individuals experiencing homelessness move toward stability, independence, and long-term success. Through emergency shelter, peer support, housing assistance, mail services, and connections to community resources, we provide compassionate support tailored to each person's unique journey.
-
Outsiders Inn operates both the 415 West and Outpost Safe Stay locations, each providing shelter for more than two dozen guests. We also manage the St. Paul's Men's Shelter in partnership with the church, as well as a seasonal Satellite Overflow Shelter during the winter months. Every one of our shelter programs is made possible through the support of our surrounding communities and the generous donations of space, resources, and time from our partners and supporters.
-
Applicants for our 415-West and Outpost Safe stay units are referred from the Vancouver HART team.
