We work with local social workers to ensure that every newborn in Southwest Washington has essential clothing, bedding and car seats. Our gift packs provide these and other items parents need during their baby’s first three months of life. We also tuck in a few nice extras like a picture book with tips on reading with children. We include inviting booklets full of warm, encouraging advice. We provide lists of free local services available to new parents and a compilation of familiar, well-loved prayers parents and children can share.

We offer services for marital enrichment as well as for distressed marriages. Coaching is done couple-to-couple in a caring, non-judgmental environment. Couples thoroughly enjoy their MarriageTeam coaching experience where they have their own personal coach couple for 10 to 12 sessions. Some coaches use video conferencing for long distance coaching – which has proven to be just as effective as coaching in-person. All volunteer coaches are well-trained and certified in our unique program. MarriageTeam is a nondenominational, nonprofit, religious-based social agency (RCW § 26.04.010).

Family Reconciliation Services (FRS) is a voluntary program serving runaway adolescents, and youth in conflict with their families. The program targets adolescents between the ages of 12 through 17. FRS services are meant to resolve crisis situations and prevent unnecessary out of home placement. They are not long term services. The services will assess and stabilize the family's situation. The goal is to return the family to a pre-crisis state and to work with the family to identify alternative methods of handling similar conflicts. If longer-term service needs are identified, FRS will help facilitate getting the youth and his/her family into on-going services.

The Independent Youth Housing Program provides rental assistance, related housing costs, and case management to young adults, ages 18-24, who have been in foster care, successfully transition from state-supported care to independent living. Education, resources, and advocacy focused on housing, education and employment, empower program participants to define and achieve goals. Financial assistance is available for participants 18 and older. Our Sexual Assault Program provides 24-hour legal, medical, and general advocacy to survivors of sexual assault and their families and friends.

Family Court Services provides evaluations of custody arrangements requested by Superior Court judges and commissioners. In Domestic Relations cases where parents are in conflict over visitation or residential placement of their children, the court can order all parties to the dispute to meet with the Family Court Evaluator. The parties will be interviewed, and they may be directed to psychological or other testing, after which the evaluator provides the judicial officer with a written report of findings.
