The Outsiders Inn Project HOPE Street Outreach Team members work collectively to find and assist individuals in Vancouver and Clark county who are unsheltered and connect these individuals to hope for something better. They can connect to basic needs, emergency shelter, housing, and supportive services as identified by the person needing it and outreach team members together.
We support individuals in accessing housing and housing services through a team of certified peer and recovery coaches with lived experience navigating similar experiences in their own lives, their lived experience = HOPE! They build connection and trust through continued repetitive engagements and support empowerment in addressing barriers.
- Basic needs include: Access to laundry services, bus passes, showers, hygiene. food, water, basic first aid, tents, tarps, sleeping bags/blankets, mail pick up service and peer and recovery support.
- Comprehensive needs include: Housing assessments, community care coordination, transfer to shelter programs, access to employment training opportunities, navigation support and referrals to housing programs.
