The Outsiders Inn Meal Train is full of Community Cook ROCKSTARS!! They are supporting Outsiders Inn Shelter collaborations where local area faith congregations & community residents are working diligently side-by-side together to expand emergency shelter options in Vancouver WA.

Meal cooking and drop off is needed in this task. We completely understand during this critical time with the Covid-19 virus the need to keep everyone safe.

** AT THIS TIME WE ARE facilitating fully masked meal exchanges.

Each of the locations have a bit of individual instruction below:

  • The St Paul shelter delivery of 27 meals is in the alleyway on the 14th St. / South-East side of the building. When you arrive park in the pastor's parking space. There is a door bell at the double doors, if no one is there to greet you, ring bell and/or call Kitchen # 360-728-5758. We'll come out with a cart to take in the meal.

  • The Immanuel Wed-Thur-Fri SOS Shelter location 18 meal delivery is at the church on the corner of 8310 MacArthur Blvd at Leiser Rd. Please come to the main church double doors on North-east side of the building. Knock loudly on the door! - There should be volunteers to greet you and help receive your meal.

  • The River City Saturday SOS Shelter 18 meal delivery location is at 2400 E. 4th Plain Blvd - the entrance is on East side of building under the covered walkway - just past the playground area! Come knock on the door and staff or volunteer will help receive your meal.

  • The Outpost Community 25 meal delivery at 11400 NE 51st Circle has 2 meal times per day 11a and 5:30p. The location also has a gate & staff to check-in with. The covered community eating area has a couple of tables and chairs. We have a basic 110 plug-in and a microwave. But beyond that, that is it for now. The meal and service is really up to you! We welcome prepared meals ready to eat or heat. And please bring plates and utensils that will be needed for the service, too. We welcome your creative food-love and hospitality!

It would be greatly appreciated and helpful to those planning to serve to have their food handlers card. The link is: https://www.foodworkercard.wa.gov/
